Core technical objective of our Water-Based Hardener portfolio is to provide a versatile range of reaction profiles for various end applications. By adjusting the amine functionality and the degree of adduct formation, we enable formulators to precisely control the "adaptability" of the final system matching the curing speed and film hardness to the specific environmental conditions. Whether formulating high-viscosity mortars with Droquamine 720 or high-solid maintenance coatings with Droquamine 731, our series ensures rapid hardness development and excellent early water resistance. Our high-performance Water-Based Epoxy Hardeners are advanced curing agents designed for sustainable, low-VOC coating systems. These aqueous amine-adduct dispersions are engineered for seamless compatibility with both emulsified and direct epoxy resins, providing a robust pathway to high-durability finishes without the environmental impact of traditional solvents. We are a globally known WB Epoxy Hardeners series supplier, providing a diverse range of aqueous amine adducts with varied amine values and solid contents. We provide a comprehensive range of eco-friendly curing agents with full technical (Viscosity/Amine Value/PHR) and supporting quality assurance documentation (WB Epoxy COA/TDS/SDS); detailed compatibility mapping with emulsified resins; global regulatory support; and reliable lead times upto 10MT+ commercial-scale supply, enabling partners to lead the transition to sustainable industrial coatings.

Chemical Properties & Specifications
Indoor floor coatings and wall paints in hospitals, schools, and residential buildings where air quality and where low-VOC and low-odour profiles are critical for occupant safety
High "breathability" over green concrete or damp substrates, preventing osmotic blistering and ensuring superior inter-coat adhesion
Corrosion resistance and mechanical durability comparable to solvent-borne systems, suitable for light-to-medium duty protective coatings on steel and masonry
User-friendly application with water-washable tools, offering excellent levelling and high-gloss or matte finishes
Eco-friendly binder in structural bonding applications where non-flammability and worker safety are critical.
Highly compatible with various aggregates to create high-strength screeds and repair mortars with a focus on ease of application and clean-up
Solvent-borne hardeners contain flammable and often toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that require expensive ventilation and PPE. Our Droquamine series is aqueous, significantly reducing inhalation risks and the potential for fire during application in confined spaces. For Sourcing Managers, this translates to lower insurance premiums and a safer environment for application crews.
Yes. Unlike solvent-based systems that trap moisture and cause delamination, the water-borne chemistry of Droquamine 729 allows for moisture vapor transmission (breathability). Its very low viscosity (400–1000 cPs) ensures deep penetration into the concrete pores, providing a high-strength mechanical bond even on substrates with a high moisture content.
We maintain active production for our high-demand water-borne series. For a commercial volume of 5MT, our standard lead time is 7–8 Weeks. Products are supplied in 200 Kg HDPE Drums or 1,000L IBCs, protected from extreme temperatures to ensure the stability of the aqueous dispersion.
Calculation is based on the stoichiometric requirement of the amine hydrogen groups relative to the epoxy groups of the resin (typically based on an EEW of 190 for liquid epoxy). Our Identifier Values table provides the exact PHR range for each grade. Scientists value this precision as it allows for the formulation of "stain-resistant" topcoats by ensuring 100% cross-link density.
Our Droquamine series is designed to be self-emulsifying or highly compatible with standard emulsified epoxy resins. For "Direct Resin" applications, the hardener itself acts as the emulsifier, facilitating the dispersion of the resin into the water phase during mixing. We provide detailed Mixing & Shear Speed Guidelines to ensure a stable, homogeneous emulsion every time.
